Brother Brolly is a dear friend of mine and I was honored to partner with him and help make the art to support his latest album Things That Keep Me Up At Night.
He came to me with some initial ideas for artwork and I help finalize those ideas with adding text and aligning all the artwork to a similar color palette and feel. We did a couple pieces of merch and some promotional material as well.
This was also a fun project to try some wild ideas in the video world. For Higher Love we teamed up with our friend Alex to do some doodling. We spent one long night shooting it in Jake's kitchen. She would draw a line, step out of the frame, I'd take the photos and then repeat that thousands of times. A beautiful collaboration between the three of us :)
Hummingbird was one of those ideas I saw vividly while I was on a walk one day. I thought about having these different compositions of various shots and a ticker tape of lyrics below. Luckily Jake trusted me enough to give it a shot and get a little loose in front of the camera, I think he did wonderful. Also filmed in his kitchen, shoutout to the chandelier.
